Shahrukh Khan’s next release is Priyadarshan directed Billu Barber. But if you think that he is the hero of the movie, you are absolutely wrong. Shahrukh will be seen in an extended guest role in few scenes and shaking his legs for couple of items songs with his favorite ladies Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra.

Deepika Padukone has been seen wearing a bikini for Billu Barber’s item number with Shahrukh Khan. Well, Shahrukh does more than that because he is also producer.

Billu Barber is story of a village barber played by Irfan Khan whose life changes for worse when his childhood friend, Shahrukh Khan, a superstar, visits his village for a film shoot. Lara Dutta plays Irfan Khan’s wife in this emotional and sometimes funny movie. Shahrukh Khan has a special item number with Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra in Billu Barber.

 Shilpa Shetty is currently in London and supposedly on her wedding trip. Shilpa’s whole family including her sister Shamita are in London.

Rumor mill says Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra got married a couple of days before Christmas and Raj threw a grand Christmas bash-cum-reception party for near and dear folks.

Apparently Shilpa was so elated that she decided to cook herself for the Christmas bash. She prepared dinner for her beau and family that night. Shilpa says, “Luv cooking but (for 15 people) was backbreaking, but worth all the same when showered with huge compliments which we thoroughly lapped up.”

She goes on to add “Dinner was a lavish (healthy), exotic spread …. fruit punch, salmon & chicken appetisers with some dips, Golden Roasted stuffed Turkey,(it looked like a tandoori turkey by the time I was finished with it!!!!) Yorkshire pudding, Mozzarella Salad, Roasted Parsnips Organic vegetables, corn pulao, brussel sprouts with roasted chestnuts… and finally topped it with a two layered chocolate cake and apple crumble with ice cream and traditional mince pies with warm custard.

Shilpa probably didn’t want to reveal to the world that she is married. Shilpa in a wedding dress… Wonder if it supports the rumors.

Mona Singh of the Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin fame is making her Bollywood debut with superstars Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor in Raj Kumar Hirani’s Five Point Someone adaptation 3 Idiots. She is very excited and nervous about the film.

Mona says, Aamir is so good. It’s not even funny. He makes me so nervous. In fact, the thought of working with any of the big stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir and Shah Rukh Khan makes me very nervous. But for now, I am excited.”

She plays Kareena’s sister in the film and talking about her role she says, “I play a very bubbly character in the film and my look is very different from what I look right now. My role is really good and I have a major part in the climax of the film.”

Mona is a fairly good actress we saw her acting skills in Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin and she dances amazingly - that made her win two dance competitions on TV. We hope the actress does well on the silver screen too.

NDTV Imagine is coming up with a brand new talk show that has top fashion designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. The show starts on 3rd January and repeats every Sunday.

“For the first time we are hosting a television show and we wanted to be sure that it’s a well-laid out format and presentation. This show is very close to our hearts. Not only are we anchoring it, but we have also designed the sets keeping the theme of the show in mind, ” said Khosla in a press release.

The show will feature all the top celebrity wives right from “Gauri Khan, Suzanne Roshan, Jaya Bachchan, Manyatta Dutt, Anupama Chopra, Adhuna Akhtar,Tanya Deol, Kirron Kher to others like Maharani Padmini Devi, Nita Ambani, Neerja Birla and Usha Mittal - many will be seen on the show. They will talk about their private world and the challenges they face in being the wife of a successful man,” reports a source.

The show is produced by Shahrukh Khan’s Red Chillies Company.

Prestigious V. Shantaram awards named after legendary film maker V. Shantaram have some good news for Aamir Khan. His film Taare Zameen Par emerged a winner at the show.

Aamir’s lead actor of TZP Darsheel Safary won the Best Actor Award for the film. Aishwarya Rai received the Best Actress Award for Jodha Akbar.

The Awards confer three categories of awards to directors - Gold, Silver and Bronze to directors. Neeraj Pandey won Gold for his film A Wednesday, Aamir won Silver for Taare Zameen Par and Ashutosh Govariker won bronze for Jodhaa Akbar.

Neeraj Pandey beat Aamir Khan and bagged the Best Debut Director Award. Amol Gupte won the best writer award for TZP.

Farhan Akhtar won the Best Debut Actor Award for Rock On and Best Supporting Actor award went to Jimmy Shergill for his role in A Wednesday.

Bollywood hunk Hrithik Roshan and Mexican beauty Barbara Mori will tell an intense love story in their upcoming flick Kites. The movie is making such hallabaloo for the heavy loaded intense scene between Hrithik and Barbara. It speaks about love, emotions, hatred, jealously and animosity. Kites will show Hrithik speaking in Hindi and Barbara in Spanish. Though diversified in culture, the duo will fall in love and go beyond any language and restrictions.

It is a sort of love triangle. A twist in the tale appears when sexy Kangana Ranaut step in. Director Anurag Basu is full of praises for the two lead stars, “Hrithik and I really enjoyed working together. I always respected him as an actor but now I respect him as a human being too. Hrithik and I made the movie honestly, just like we wanted to”.

He commented about Barbara too, “The day I narrated about Kites, I knew I had chosen the right actress. I have this bad habit of narrating very fast. Barbara is a Mexican actress, so she is not aware of Hindi and also less familiar with English. But the way she understood my story, hats off to her. Her expressions changed while I was narrating the story. I have never seen any actor responding this way. Even though she comes from a different culture, the emotions of love and relationship are the same. Her approach was definitely different”.

Hope Kites marks another big hit of Hrithik Roshan.

A source reveals, “Sonam was signed for a huge amount commensurate with what th actresses of today like Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra are charging. The deal was brought about by celebrity management company, Atul Kasbekar’s Bling.”

Ash will continue to be with the brand but she will represent only women of her ages and Sonam, the younger groups. If Sonam signs the ad then this would be her first commercial with any company. After accumulating huge accolades for Saawariya, she is gearing up for her next release Delhi 6 with Abhishek Bachchan.
