Pregnancy Changes in Fifth Month:
In this month your baby will grow another half weight and measures about 6-8 inches and weighs between 8-10 ounces. Your baby can hear sound now, even though their ears are not fully formed. Meanwhile his other senses such as sight, smell, touch, and taste starts developing. If you baby is a little girl, her ovaries started begin to devlop primitive egg cells in her ovaries and her vagina ,uterus will also develop by the end of this month.
Taste buds are beginning to develop and can distinguish sweet from bitter tastes.The lungs are beginning to exhale amniotic fluid, and the circulatory and urinary systems are working and also fat begin to form helping your babys heat production and metabolism. In this month your baby develops his/her finger prints.
In this month you notice and increase in appetite and lazziness and also mild-headaches. Try to take some rest le down on bed and relax more often . In this month your heart has to work 40 to 50 percent harder to support your pregnancy and your can feel your baby movements unless if this is your first pregnancy. There is chance of bladder infections because the smooth muscles in the urinary tract relax.
In the end of this month ultrasound will be performed and fetal development and also due date and can be verified. You can know your baby’s poisition and also the gender of your baby whether boy or a girl. In this month your skin is developing and transparent, appearing red because blood vessels are visible through it.
