Ingredients:
- Maida - 1/4 kg
- Cooking Soda - little bit
- Green peas - 100 gms
- Potatoes – 5 -6
- Souvery curds – 2- 3 tsp
- Ghee – 1 – 1 1/2 tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Ginger – 1/2 inch ( cut into small pieces)
- Cumin powder – 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
- Green Chillies – 2-3
- Chilli powder - little a pinch
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Mustard seen – 1/2 tsp
- Lemon juice – 2 tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Oil/ghee/Vanaspathi – 300 ml for frying kachori
- Coriander leaves – a few
Method:
- Wash the Potatoes in a clean water, boil them in a vessel, cool it, remove its husk and mash it.
- Green peas should be cleaned and boiled and cool it
- Take a pan pour oil ( 2-3 tsp) add green chillies,bit of ginger pieces, mashed potato pieces, boiled green pieces, masala powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, chilli powder, cook them for 5 mins and add a bit of lemon juice and coriander leaves keep the curry aside.
- Now prepare a soft dough from maida, cooking soda, salt and ghee, curds with required suitable warm water .
- Then make small balls from dough and put dough like a round disc and fill the curry inside to be covered with dough.
- Heat the oil in a pan and put Alu Kachori slowly and fry till it becomes brown.
- Alu Kachori is ready to eat.
