Kambakth Ishq - Movie Story

Viraj (Akshay Kumar) is a stuntman in Hollywood who is flirting and leads a luxurious living style. Simrita (Kareena Kapoor) is waiting her chance to become a surgeon hate the concept of marriage, as her parent’s didn’t had a happy family life. In her eyes, men are only interested in one thing, sex.

When Viraj’s brother Lucky (Aftab Shivdasani) marries to Kamini (Amrita Arora) who was a friend of Simrita,Viraj and Simrita were against the relation. From there on, the two individuals continued their fight. But in a accident fate meets them again on an operation table . Here Simrita  has to operate Viraj, the first patient.  Some carelessness happens and that turn to be the twist in the tale and the interval.

After the interval, it was more ‘Mangalam,Mangalam’. and Viraj starts having feelings for Simrita . Will they make it and fall in love forms the rest of the story.

Performances :

Akshay Kumar is Excellent as action hero in the action scenes. Akshay however only managed to give an average performance when it comes to comedy where he lacks a talented writer/director.

Kareena Kapoor was good in looks and her performance in the initial scenes. Later, however the weak storyline and character let her down.

Aftab didn’t have much to do in the film, so is Amrita Arora. Javed Jaffrey, Boman Irani & Kiron Kher were limited to guest roles and understandably they could not make any contribution to the film.

Special appearance by Sylvester Stallone & Denise Richards added glamour to the film.

Cinematography of the movie is excellent.All the fight scenes including by the Sylvester Stallone was superb.
Songs of the film was quite ordinary. Choreographer is routine.

It is high time that the big production houses make a conscious decision to make quality films. They have to assure that there is a good story to make the audience entertained and thereby assure the success of the film. Make ups only can support to a limit.

The story of the film was very thin and didn’t have anything new to offer. The writing department was a complete let down. D grade comedies are added in the film often, but it doesn’t help the film a bit. Comedy is not everybody’s take and director failed wherever he attempted doing that.

There had a lot of expensive scenes in the film, filled with glamour and action with a weak storyline.

Overall, Kambakkht Ishq FAILS TO ENTERTAINMENT THE AUDIENCE. TRY TO AVOID IT AS POSSIBLE, IF YOU REALLY WANT TO WATCH IT. GO WITH LEAST EXPECTATIONS.

The Movie is much awaited debut of Baby Shamili as heroine.

Story:

Uday (Siddartha) is the son of a big business Tycoon. Sandhya (Shamili) is a simple girl who is religious, disciplined and perfectionist. Like their names, their attitudes, thoughts are on two extremes- like dawn and dusk. Uday falls in attraction with Sandhya. He tries to attract her towards him. He covers up all his habits and interests  and shows that  both their thoughts and tasts are same. He strives hard to impress her with his acting . And slowly Sandhya inclines towards Uday.

But a startling fact comes out which stops their love. What’s that fact? How that influences the love of Uday and Sandhya forms rest of the story.

Performances:

Siddartha is performance is good and impressive all the way. But his character goes sidelined in second half without his mark. Baby Shamili as a heroine is not Impressive. Neither her costumes and make up to the mark as a Heroine. She needs to improve in her looks and cut down some weight. Her performance is ok as her character has not much to do.

Others Surekha Vani looked glamorous  and neat. Tanikella  is ok with some comedy. Sunil’s comedy episode is good in first half but goes eccentric in second half.

Music by Yuvan Shankar  is very good They are good . The song ‘176 beach houselo….’ is impressive and catchy. And the expressions like ‘kannu veedi choopu poyenaa…’ are interesting and marvelous.

Cinematography is good. Editing is up to the mark. Dialogues are also up to the requirement. Direction has suffered ups and downs and the production values deserve a very good mention.

The subject is ok but the implementation part is mishandled. Director failed to maintain momentum in narration. He has shown lapdash execution in second half.

On a whole, the movie IS A BIG LET DOWN AND BORES THE AUDIENCES .TRY TO AVOID IT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

Action hero Akshay Kumar, who was once known for his stints with actresses, is lucky enough to have worked with two of the present hottest Bollywood actresses Katrina Kaif and Kareena Kapoor. Having worked with these actresses in not just one but many movies, he would be the ideal person to describe their figure. As expected, he said that both Katrina and Kareena have sexy bodies.

Akshay Kumar surely knows these actresses quite well. He has worked with Katrina in four movies including Namastey London and Singh Is Kinng, while he has worked with Kareena in five movies including Ajnabee and Aitraaz, their latest outing being their yet to be released Kambakkht Ishq. He revealed that both of them have sexy bodies and are wonderful actresses.

The actor just can not make out who amongst the two is the better actor. He said that it all depends on the kind of roles they do, as Kareena too has given great performance in Kambakkht Ishq like Katrina did in Namastey London. Surprisingly he said that working with them was a learning experience.

Akshay is said to have kissed Kareena about ten times in their latest movie Kambakkht Ishq, which is set to release this Friday. The movie also features Hollywood big names like Sylvester Stallone, Denise Richards and Brandon Routh.

It looks like Suchita Bhatia who has leveled charges of plagiarism against the makers of John Abraham, Katrina Kaif and Neil Nitin Mukesh starrer New York is in trouble. Yash Raj Films, the producers of New York, have decided to take legal action against Bhatia for alleging that the script which was made in to New York was originally suggested to Yash Raj three years ago by her.

Confirming these developments, New York director Kabir Khan says, “This is really unfortunate. I wonder which cave this girl was living in so far to suddenly wake up five days after our movie released to realize that ‘New York’ is about three friends against a 9/11 backdrop”. Kabir sees this as nothing but opportunistic timing. He says, “It’s a great method of getting her 15 minutes of fame. Yes, we are planning to sue her and make an example of this sort of post success harassment that filmmakers go through”.

The director is very angry. Kabir says, “Why does one have to keep fighting to protect one’s integrity? By suing this girl I hope to discourage such frivolous charges in the future”.

Kareena Kapoor may be looking her glamorous best in those western gowns and hot bikinis in Sajid Nadiadwala’s “Kambakkht Ishq” but that does not mean she can not carry off traditional Indian wear. For a special endorsement of a leading jewellery brand, Bebo would be seen in a completely Indian look.

Also, this is the first time ever that Kareena is endorsing a jewellery brand and hence she wanted to make sure that she looks simply stunning. Kareena would be endorsing two different brands of the same group - Gitanjali Jewels Bridal Collection Jewellery and Multitasking Jewelry for Women.

The decision of choosing Kareena for this special range of jewellery was arrived upon after the makers carried a special survey in which majority people responded that they would like to see Kareena in a bridal get up. Kareena’s dress for this campaign has been designed by ace fashion designer Manish Malhotra.

Freida Pinto visited Dev Patel in Philadelphia, where he is shooting for M. Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender.

She will start filming her new movie with Woody Allen in London next month.

Scriptwriter Suchitra Bhatia claims that ‘New York’ was her story which she has penned three years back and even narrated the script to Yash Raj Films Arjun Sablok. Suchitra expressed her shock that Yash Raj has made a film on the script written by her without her knowledge. Her story titled, Osama – A Love Story.

Suchita said, “I wrote to Aditya Chopra in August 2006 regarding two stories I had. He asked director Arjun Sablok to get in touch with me. He contacted me and we fixed up a meeting at the YRF studio. On September 1, I met Arjun and narrated two story ideas to him. He was extremely happy with the stories. I still remember him exclaiming ‘Wow!’ I kept writing to him, but there was no response and I gave up as I got busy with other work. To my surprise, after three years, I saw New York and was disheartened to know what they had done: using my story without even informing me, let alone give me any credit.”

Suchitra said that she has written to Aditya Chopra and Arjun Sablok but did not get any reply from them. She has registered her script with the Writer’s association in 2006 and filed a complaint with the association.

However, Arjun Sablok denies the news and claimed it is nothing more then a cheap publicity by the scriptwriter.

There is a profile of Shahid Kapoor on Social networking site – Twitter which has almost 3000+ fans who have been following everything what fake Shahid writes believing him to be true.

Speaking on the fake account, Shahid says, “My friends brought to my notice that there is a profile of Shahid Kapoor that is active, when I haven’t even registered. This person has impersonated me and has been connecting with my fans, who don’t know that the ID is fake! My management has complained about this fake ‘Shahid Kapoor’ to authorities, let’s see what happens next!”

Feel sorry for the die hard fans who were duped by the so called fake Shahid Kapoor.
